Medical and Oxbridge Preparation Events

Easter is the perfect time for students undertaking the competitive application process to Oxford, Cambridge, or for Medicine to organise their preparation. There are some upcoming key events to help you with your preparation.

Spaces are limited, and tend to get snapped up immediately after Easter due to some great discounts available to students booking through the college. So please if you would like to attend any of these events contact Mrs Sherman in D15 as soon as possible. 

The Young Person's Medical Conference -
25th June, 2017 (London)

A fully immersive medical event unlike any other currently available for students in the UK.? Hear from eminent speakers about the latest evolutions in global medicine technologies. Experience our fully immersive ‘Be A Doctor For A Day’ workshops. Meet representatives from top medical schools & medical work experience providers. 

UKCAT Course - 22nd July, 2017 (London)

Test strategy and technique tutorials to learn how to approach UKCAT questions and write model answers in line with the mark scheme. Four mock admissions tests and answer sets, two of which will be marked. The opportunity to sit one full-length UKCAT paper in exam conditions.

Oxbridge Preparation Days - 
30th June (London) & 5th July (Cheshire), 2017

One-day courses for Oxford and Cambridge applicants which cover every area of the application process:

  • Talk from a former Oxbridge admissions tutor, discussing the qualities successful applicants need
  • Subject tutorial with an Oxbridge-graduate tutor, replicating the Oxford and Cambridge learning style

Mock interview with an Oxbridge-graduate, including full written and verbal feedback.
