How we Teach

In our 2010 inspection by Ofsted*  the inspectors noted that “the good quality of teaching and strong academic ethos ensure students make good progress.  Students display very positive attitudes to learning and their behaviour is outstanding.”

As an independent college, our philosophy is to promote the joy of learning and knowledge while maintaining the sharpest possible focus on the examinations.  We place great emphasis on the time-management of our courses and we ensure that students are regularly tested on their knowledge.  Most classes consist of 6 – 8 students, slightly more in Mathematics and Economics.

Tutors are carefully selected for their academic qualifications and their experience in teaching examination classes.  Safer recruitment procedures are in place to ensure compliance with all government regulations with regard to those working with young people.
