Admissions Tests

Most students taking the UKCAT and LNAT exams will be new to aptitude tests and so they are taught strategies on how to approach the tests.  We explain the structure and content of each test and then focus on setting plenty of practice questions.

BMAT

BMAT is the BioMedical Admissions Test and is required for applicants to the universities listed below: click on the links for further information about their test.

    The BMAT course covers the full range of aptitudes and skills required to take the test.  Through intensive question practice students build confidence and learn valuable test-taking skills.

David Game College provides applicants with extensive advice and support to prepare for the test, and the College is registered as a BMAT test centre so students are able to sit the test in College.

UKCAT

UKCAT is a compulsory aptitude test for applicants to the UK medical and dental schools listed below.  It does not contain any curriculum or science content but focuses on exploring thinking and analytical skills, attributes considered to be valuable for health-care professionals.

LNAT

The LNAT is a non-subject-specific aptitude test used by the universities listed below to help them distinguish between applicants to Law undergraduate programmes.  Questions are designed to test powers of comprehension, interpretation, analysis and deduction.

Oxford and Cambridge (Oxbridge) admissions tests

Oxford and Cambridge require admissions tests for many of their degree courses.  We will help you make sure you are clear in terms of what is required of your application and help you every step of the way in completing the tests.

Most admissions tests for Oxford and Cambridge are taken in early November if they are external tests, otherwise the student will be tested at interview.
