Trip to Science Museum

GCSE Students will be heading to the Science Museum in South Kensington on Thursday the 29th of January, leaving college promptly at 1:30pm in the afternoon. The museum now holds a collection of over 300,000 items, including such famous items as Stephensen's Rocket, Puffing Billy (the oldest surviving steam locomotive), the first jet engine and James Watson's mode of DNA. It also contains hundreds of interactive exhibits. A recent addition is the IMAX 3D Cinema showing many science and nature documentaries.
