A conversation with Peter Brookes & Keith Grant

A Conversation on Artistic Creativity with Peter Brookes & Keith Grant

This event provides a unique opportunity to hear and see two of our most vital creative artists in conversation. It is sure to prove both entertaining and enlightening about the creative process in general and the approaches of these two artists in particular.

The leader-page cartoonist for The Times since 1992, Peter Brookes CBE is generally considered to be the finest editorial cartoonist working in Britain today, as is confirmed by his many distinguished awards. Chris Beetles Gallery has represented him since 1997, and has arranged a number of solo shows and book launches dedicated to his consistently incisive output.

One of the greatest living landscape painters, Keith Grant has travelled extensively, and has confronted the elements in order to produce extraordinary, resonant images of nature, especially in the north. Chris Beetles Gallery has represented him since 2008, and has mounted four major solo shows that have surveyed his
impressive career and introduced his latest original achievements.
In the past, Keith has taken part in similarly stimulating seminars with the poet, Sir Geoffrey Hill, in Oxford, and the polymath, Sir Jonathan Miller, in London.
