A level Geography Field Trip to East London

The beauty of Geography is that it’s everywhere even on your doorstep!  With that in mind the Geography A level group made the short trek to Stratford to carry out their Fieldwork to investigate rebranding and the impact of the Olympic Legacy on East London.  We had a very busy day carrying out a variety of surveys and enjoyed talking to the locals about their view of the changes.  On another visit we assessed the river management and flood control strategies along the river Lea which runs straight through the Olympic Park.  After all the rain we have been having we were glad of the sunshine which made all the hard work more enjoyable.  Many thanks to John from   www.urbangeogeastlondon  who guided us through the day.
