Getting Into Medical School Conference

On Saturday 5th April, science students who are part of our Medical Programme attended a conference at UCL with Rachel Sherman, the Director of Studies. The aim of the day was to give students a chance to really understand what it means to study Medicine in the UK and some top tips for making an application.

The three GPs that run the course are practicing doctors who were full of energy and enthusiasm for the profession.  They also put students on the spot and asked probing questions so students soon got to realise how tough the interviews can be and how they need to start thinking seriously about preparing for their application.

It was an inspiring start to the Easter holidays giving the students plenty of food for thought.
