Our Economics students enjoyed a trip to an A-level economics conference at City Conference Centre in Holborn, central London. The topic of discussion was the 'UK Economy in Uncertain Times' and speakers included Labour politician Chuka Umunna, Tim Harford, Tim Gauke - Senior Secretary to the Treasury and Larry Elliot - Economics editor of the Guardian.
There were many lively discussions and students were able to take part with Q&A sessions at the conclusion.
