Alan holds master’s degrees in Arts and Research, specialising in Geography, from the University of Glasgow. Having made significant contributions to the academic development of students in the social sciences at boarding schools in the UK and Switzerland, he brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to educational excellence to his role. As Vice Principal and Head of Sixth Form at David Game College, Alan provides strategic leadership across academic provision, pastoral care and student development. He drives a culture of high expectations in which teaching and learning, individual progress and student wellbeing are closely aligned. Working collaboratively with students, families and colleagues, Alan supports learners in becoming confident, resilient and intellectually curious, and helps to ensure that they are well prepared for higher education and their future pathways.
