Both institutions pledged to work closely together to deliver a world-class educational experience that will enable talented Chinese students to realise their aspirations of studying at leading British universities.

Following the formal ceremony, the David Game College delegation visited the headquarters of New Oriental Group and toured the Beijing campus of the British Cloud High School project. The visit provided an opportunity to appreciate New Oriental’s distinguished educational heritage and spirit of innovation, further strengthening the College’s confidence in the future of this partnership.

The successful launch of the British Cloud High School project represents a significant milestone in the enduring partnership between David Game College and New Oriental Vision Overseas. David Game College remains confident that this collaboration will serve as a model of Sino-British educational cooperation, fostering the development of globally minded students with the knowledge, skills, and character to succeed at top-tier universities.

Officially guided and overseen by David Game College (UK), and delivered in person by New Oriental Vision Overseas, the British Cloud High School programme provides a joint Sino-British educational model specifically designed to prepare students for academic success in the United Kingdom.

The programme features a flexible 1+1 study mode, enabling students to undertake one year of study at a New Oriental Vision Overseas campus in China and one year at David Game College’s London campus. This approach offers significant cost savings while ensuring a smooth academic and cultural transition to life in the UK. Students will benefit from authentic British high school courses delivered in a traditional academic setting, supported by David Game College’s extensive educational resources and experience.

Enrolled students will obtain official British high school student status from David Game College, enabling them to apply to UK and other overseas universities as domestic UK students, thereby gaining a distinct advantage in the admissions process. With New Oriental Vision Overseas providing comprehensive academic guidance and application support, students will receive expert advice on subject selection and career planning aligned with their intended undergraduate courses.

Through this partnership, David Game College reaffirms its enduring commitment to supporting ambitious Chinese students in securing places at leading UK universities, and to nurturing the next generation of globally aware, high-achieving graduates.
