Michael Parris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Jordanhill College (now University of Strathclyde) in Business and Economics, with a focus on secondary business education.

Michael’s his passion for teaching, lead him to secure a position at a leading London College in West London. In this role, he dedicated himself solely to building and enhancing A Level Business courses. Subsequently, he added to this role by becoming a private tutor, which he still does when time permits to this day. This dovetailed with an additional college teaching position at Abbey College in Bloomsbury, London (formerly Albion College), alongside a year teaching evening seminars at Birkbeck University until the closure of Abbey College in 2013. Finally, Michael began teaching GCSE, A Level, and, until very recently, Foundation Business courses at David Game College in 2013 and has continued to enjoy teaching there to this day.
